2009 School Pictures & History

For Those Classmates Who May Not Have Returned to the West Palm Beach, Florida
Area in the last 10 years, All Three Neighborhood Schools have been Rebuilt !

Forest Hill High School

The Original School Opened in 1958. Several Years ago the School Board Bought about
15 homes that were Located on the South side of Forest Hill Blvd and Bordered FHHS.
The Homes were Razed and Over a period of a couple of years new buildings were built
replacing the originals by 2004.

Conniston Middle School

All Buildings were Replaced with New Buildings at This School in 2004.
The Original School was Opened in 1929, as Conniston Junior High School.

Palmetto Elementary School

All Buildings were Replaced with New Buildings at This School in 2002.
The Original School was Opened in 1927, making it 25 years old when I started classes
there in 1952. The old school was cool.. I remember finding some secret passages in the
Main Building where the Auditorium was. Miss Allen was the Principal for Many years.

The New School now Occupies the Original site and The Old Bailey Estate on the
West side of Parker Avenue !

First School to Open in Palm Beach County
Was: Lake Worth Palm Beach School in 1886 !
