After Graduating from FHHS in 1963, I Attended  Tift College in Forsyth, Ga.

In 1965 I got married to Gary Rankin, who graduated from PBHS in 1958. We have a daughter, Deborah and Grandson Daniel.

I worked at RCA in Palm Beach Gardens for several  years. My Husband, Gary, also worked at RCA and helped turn out the lights when they finally closed down the Computer Systems Division in 1975.

I owned a tennis shop in Palm Beach Gardens for 2 years then we moved to Boynton Beach to be closer to my husband's job. I worked as a realtor for several years before returning to school so I could reach my life long goal of becoming a nurse. I have worked as nurse since 1984. First at JFK hospital, then at Bethesda hospitals.

We moved to Greensboro, NC in 1987 when my husband accepted a job here. Also in 1987 my daughter moved here also, which made us so happy. Our family is so important to us.

I have been a psychiatric nurse at Alamance Regional Hospital systems since 1987, I am currently the Educational Coordinator for the Behavioral Medicine Department.
